Dear Frank,

I delayed my answer because I`m not satisfied
with the state of my biking affairs. At the moment I`m
restructuring all the activities and hopefully be
ready with this and the calender for the season by mid
April-beginning of May.
I am interested in accepting foreigners in
Belarus. I arranged tours for Belorussians only,
individuals and companies. In case of foreigners it is
different.
Meanwhile I can tell you the folllowing:
- bike rent - 5-10E/day (panniers etc - yes)
- accomodation - both wild and civilised possible
- ?E/day (tents etc - yes)
- guidance - for sure. 1 guide - small group, 1-2
assistants - big groups - ?E/day
- car/van support - possible - ?E/day
- invitatation for visas - possible - ?E/day
(recently Belarus liberalized its policies for
Westerns in this field).
Everything depends on what you suggest. We have 4
State National Parks and 1 State Natural Reserve,
this is nature tourism. Brest, Grodno and Minsk and
biking in the vicinities can be suggested as cultural
tourism (easier reacheable than Vitebsk, Mogilev or
Gomel). When I offer my services to a company (I work
together with the Public Association Fund Vremya), I
ask them what they want and tailor a tour according to
ther tastes. In the present case, as I understand, I
must offer my own tours with complete listing of
services.

Apart from commercial tours this season I plan
"my own" trips: 10 days in Lithuania with the BC-04,
21 days in Karelia and potentially 14 days round
Moscow (Golden Ring). By the way, tours with
foreigners in CIS are also possible.
